Instagram Will Enable New Advertisers To Create Ads Without Linking To Facebook

Sharing is caring!

You may now create an Instagram ad without linking it to Facebook. Interesting. Right?

Instagram is now fully integrated into Facebook in the form of advertising tools and branding. Recently, Instagram gave a surprising announcement that new advertisers can now create ads without linking them to Facebook.

If you have yet not promoted your brand on Instagram, a great opportunity has just knocked upon your door.

Instagram said: “We have now provided the liberty to create an Instagram ad without having any presence on Facebook. Now you do not have to create any Facebook Ad Account or Facebook Page while promoting a post on Instagram.

The option to unlink the accounts is disabled for the previous users as till present; advertisers needed to link their profiles to the FB Ad Manager. This catchy feature is here for the first time users.

Now advertisers can run an ad campaign and even track the performance on Insta Direct. It is convenient for advertisers to manage their ads on Instagram rather than on Facebook.

Advertisers now have to go through a few simple steps to promote their Instagram ads:

  1. Visit your profile.
  2. Click on the post you want to promote.
  3. Tap on the ‘Promote’ option below.
  4. Supply in with the information required like, ‘Destination’ ‘Audience’ ‘Duration’ and add ‘Budget.’ Click ‘Next’ once finished with the details.
  5. Tap on ‘Create Promotion’ under ‘Review’ to start your campaign.

At the current stage, the new advertisers from the U.S. and Turkey can avail of this new feature.

To bridge the accounts of Facebook and Instagram ad platforms, Facebook has invested plenty of years. It has made the platform unified.

Surprising reason behind the launch of the NEW FEATURE

The New York Times stated that an inflammatory post and hate speeches all over was a massive reason for this added measure or so as some have speculated.

As per the commentators, despite the commitment to dropping off their ads on social media platforms, The North Face failed to do so. It is an existential possibility for the split. Facebook owns both the platforms but due to the recent events of the policy decision, the association with Instagram was lost. But Instagram has denied any such rumor and mentioned it as a project in process for months.

Splitting Instagram and Facebook seems to be a lot of work for the backend team, but the idea to maximize its profit can also be the cause. When the accounts were linked, advertisers benefited from integrated functionality, data tracking, and targeted benefits quickly. That concludes and gives the prior reason more weightage and logic.

Despite the changes and launch of the new feature, it is still only available in the U.S. and Turkey with no news on further expansion.
