Salesforce Announces Vaccine Cloud Update To Help Healthcare Providers Manage The Bulk Of Appointments

Salesforce has updated its Vaccine Cloud so that users can pre-register to receive vaccines and then be notified when appointments are available with an innovative scheduling feature.

The Vaccine Cloud’s free upgrade is designed to avoid the page’s refreshing needed to receive COVID-19 vaccine appointments and make a more scalable system as vaccinations will be available to everyone starting April 19.  New enhancements to Vaccine Cloud include a faster, more reliable, and fairer way to schedule vaccination appointments.

These new features make scheduling meetings faster and easier for residents and help businesses better cope with growing volumes. Residents can more easily register to reserve their spot and get notified when an appointment is ready.

Salesforce’s Vaccine Cloud update includes the following features:

Residents can pre-register via a scalable website to receive vaccines on time. The website can handle up to millions of visitors per day.

After fulfilling the requirements, the residents will be notified to schedule their meeting on the channel of their choice such as email or SMS.

Vaccine Cloud then links that person to a personalized scheduling process via a one-time-use link to ensure equal access to the system.

When someone clicks the link, the web page shows where and when the appointment is available.

Salesforce’s first product to help companies deal with the pandemic is Work.com, which is expanded to become Work.com for vaccines. Vaccine Cloud is the latest version of the service designed to help businesses and governments successfully deal with the pandemic.
