Salesforce, a Customer Relationship Management provider, has shifted its software to a local server to open the door for itself in the market of India.
As per the reports, Arundhati Bhattacharya, the chairperson and CEO of Salesforce India, said that shifting applications to the cloud have accelerated due to pandemics. Edtech and Financial services have taken significant steps towards cloud applications. Recently, Salesforce has added on 1000 employees, bringing its headcount in the country to 5000. There used to be a mistaken notion that storing data on-premises is safer. That is now changing. Even government IT solutions like Cowin are now cloud-based.
Salesforce is an American company headquartered in San Francisco, California, founded by Marc Benioff and Parker Harris in February 1999. Customer Relationship Management Software is the company’s backbone, which provides smooth communication between the company and its existing customers, and helps to improve customer experience. It also helps in making a Customer-centric approach and making a smooth workflow and results in high profit.
