Google Cloud Announces Digital Transformations At Next ’22

Google Cloud shared its vision for digital transformations in Next’22. The conference had many keynotes regarding its portfolio’s numerous new innovations and partnerships. The announcement includes a data cloud to help organizations automate core processes and understand the data, an open infrastructure cloud for advancing legacy information systems; a trusted cloud for protection from cyber threats; and a collaboration cloud for secure communication and collaboration.  An open data cloud Customers want to use their data from all sources, in all storage formats, and across numerous analysis styles. So, Google Cloud announced meaningful steps to provide the industry’s most open, extensible, and robust data cloud, along with new applications and services. Announced Innovations include: Big Query support for unstructured data, Support for new data formats, Looker Studio, Translation Hub, Vertex AI Vision, and Expanded integrations

Accessible, transformative, open infrastructure

To better help all types and sizes of organizations operate on Google Cloud, at the edge, or in their data centers, the company is announcing a bunch of infrastructure and migration updates, including: Five new Google Cloud regions are coming to Austria, Greece, Norway, South Africa, and Sweden, C3 machine series, Anthos enhancements, Dual Run, Migration Center, and OpenXLA Project.

An integrated, AI-powered collaboration hub

To help hybrid teams collaborate and communicate, develop and share ideas, and get work done safely from anywhere, Google Cloud introduced new innovations in Google Workspace and its partner ecosystem that will help companies transform the way they operate, including: New capabilities in Google Meet, Smart canvas enhancements in Google Docs, smart chips for third-party applications, New security enhancements, New APIs, etc.

Advanced security tools from cyber threats

The height of cybersecurity threats has become so high that every company is reconsidering its security measures. With the acquisition of Mandiant, Google Cloud is expanding its cybersecurity supervision and expertise to help customers stay safeguarded at every phase of the security circle. The company has announced new products, partnerships, and solutions to build the extensible trusted cloud offering, which includes: Chronicle Security Operations, Confidential Space, a new solution in the Confidential Computing portfolio, Google Cloud Ready – Sovereign Cloud, Software Delivery Shield, A significant expansion, etc.

New developments announced at Next include:

Project Starline, which makes a 3D model of an individual, A strategic partnership with Coinbase, will help help the growing Web3 ecosystem and its developers. Google Cloud Carbon Footprint is now unrestricted for every customer in the cloud console. Apart from it, eco-friendly routing is coming soon to the Google Maps Platform to help ridesharing and delivery companies implant eco-friendly paths into their driver applications.
