Salesforce plans to launch four industry clouds for communications, utilities, media, and public sector courtesy of its Vlocity acquisition.
The previous industry clouds from Salesforce were built on verticals, which includes healthcare and financial services.
The new clouds, which Salesforce has combined with Vlocity technology, have purpose-built apps and industry-specific data models. They have combined the technology with the help of the Salesforce Customer 360 platform.

- Media Cloud offers process guides and media-specific data models. It also provides tools to launch subscription bundles as well as monetization tools and personalized experiences.
- Utilities Cloud bridges the customer information from legacy billing systems with sales and service operations to offer one view of the customer and also mobile tools, self-service tools, and personalized services.
- Public Sector Solutions work for government and agency offices with tools to issue permits such as inspection permits and licensing tracking tools, faster in a remote work environment. are also included.
