Salesforce, the world’s #1 provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software, has announced a new app at the Trailheadx Conference called Salesforce Anywhere to enable more effective team collaboration within the Salesforce platform. The app brings chat, notifications, comments, and video directly into the CRM, instead of being distributed among tasks and lost across text messages and email chains.
This new app is hoping to bring together powerful new technologies and platform services under one umbrella to help businesses unlock new levels of productivity and efficiency for the new normal after the coronavirus pandemic.

To succeed and cultivate a productive digital work environment, it requires a stronger focus on collaboration. With the new Salesforce Anywhere application, employees can exchange information within the teams and chat with them. Although there are other chat tools out there, Machado says this new app focuses on sharing data from Salesforce, not as a general-purpose like Slack or other business chat tools.

Stay up to date from anywhere: Users can subscribe to real-time notifications for changes and updates in Salesforce.
Collaborate in context: Team members can start a conversation via instant messaging or video while viewing the same page in Salesforce.
Take action quickly – Salespeople can use internal comments to add feedback to any part of the record that needs to be discussed and get personalized action suggestions from Einstein to keep everything up to date.
The Salesforce Anywhere application helps every Salesforce user collaborate with a team, be productive in their workflow, and keep customers up-to-date with chat, alerts, comments, and videos directly integrated into the Salesforce customer success platform. With Salesforce Anywhere, a salesperson can change the status of a transaction in Salesforce by immediately notifying the other account team members, who can then respond with one click to offer support on the next steps.
The Salesforce Anywhere App will be available worldwide in the beta stage in July. The app will be generally available to all users in the fourth quarter of 2020.
