Combs Enterprise and Salesforce have entered into a partnership to launch Shop Circulate. SHOP CIRCULATE is a curated digital marketplace that aims to empower Black entrepreneurs and help build wealth in the black community. With this platform, consumers can discover and buy products make and sold by Black entrepreneurs.
SHOP CIRCULATE provides an innovative platform for Black businesses to reach global audiences and allows consumers to shop for the best Black-owned brands in the world. This new platform will be developed and built by Deloitte Digital, a leading consulting firm and global strategic partner of Salesforce, powered by the world’s leading online marketplace platform from Marketplace.
Sean combs, the chairman of Combs Enterprise, said in the statement, “Building Black wealth starts with investing in Black-owned businesses and giving entrepreneurs access to the consumers needed to build sustainable companies that can thrive. I’m excited to partner with Salesforce to create a platform that will advance our collective pursuit of economic justice.”
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said it’s an honor for his company to work & collaborate with the Combs team to bridge the unfair prosperity gap that prevents too many black Americans from achieving economic equality.
Marc Benioff remarked, “Shop Circulate will empower us all — as individuals, communities, and companies — to support Black-owned businesses, amplify the talent of Black entrepreneurs and move us closer to true equality.”
With this deal, Shop Circulate has also acquired The Nile List, a digital community that connects consumers with Black-owned brands, and as a result, Khadijah Robinson, the founder of Nile List, has been appointed as head of product. She will oversee developments and lead all of Shop Circulate’s global efforts. Shop Circulate has also partnered with Official Black Wall Street, a leading directory for opening black-owned businesses, with founder Mandy Bowman as an advisor.
Launching later this year, the platform will feature a comprehensive roster of companies ranging from beauty, fashion, and art to health, wellness, and home products and will be designed and built by Deloitte Digital and powered by Marketplacer’s technology.
