Justin Maguire III Named As Chief Design Officer of Salesforce

Sharing is caring!

Salesforce, the world’s premier Customer Relationship Management (CRM) company, has promoted Justin Maguire III to the role of Chief Design Officer. Maguire previously served as EVP of product design and user experience.

Over the past six months, Salesforce President and Chief Operating Officer Bret Taylor and Maguire have been working in tandem for determining the duties and responsibilities of the new role. Salesforce Chairman & Co-CEO Marc Benioff has been primarily involved in product design ever since the company launched.

In an interview, Maguire said Marc and the company have a strong commitment to design and the customer experience. Maguire said hiring an EVP of design was unusual when he was hired four-and-a-half years ago at the EVP level.

Salesforce is used by millions of users worldwide and therefore the significance of intuitive products with user-friendly designs has always been critical for the CRM company. The events, AppExchange, and events of Salesforce have become major platforms for third parties when it comes to launching and scaling their platforms. It is for this and many more reasons that the concept of meticulous design principles has become even more important.
